→ Because the moon is yet, earth's only natural satellite.

4) Why do we think that the Moon changes shapes?

→  The moon looks like it is changing shapes but it's just the sun. The sun lights up different parts of the earth's surface.


5) Which phase allows us to only see the unlit side of the Moon?

a. New Moon b. First Quarter

6) True or False: The Gibbous Moon looks like a Full Moon but only three quarters of it?

7) Describe what an eclipse is?

→ An eclipse is when the moon has two different events. 


8) What are the two different types of eclipse?

→ The moon's two different events are called the solar eclipse and the lunar eclipse.


9) Why shouldn’t we look directly at a Solar Eclipse?

→ You shouldn't look at the moon when the moon is having a solar eclipse because the moon can hurt your eyes and make you blind, even though it's super dark!


10) A Lunar Eclipse is what colour?

→ The lunar eclipse is the colour red. They mostly call it a blood moon because it turns red. The moon lines up with the sun, and the sun makes the moon turn red. The blood moon doesn't happen often like the solar eclipse but yeah.
